How do I manage notifications for Insights?

Learn how to set your notifications to get the best results for your team

Notifications are how Volt Insights communicates to you your message deliverability. You can decide the frequency in which you receive these notifications and the volume at which the notification is necessary. This is different depending on the kind of business, the volume you send, and the reasons that you send.

First navigate to the notifications page by clicking on Notifications on the Insights page

The first setting is deciding at what percentage you want to be notified and how often. For instance if phone number (555) 123-4567 has an average delivery rate below 50%, you will receive a notification about that phone number and associated organization every day at approximately 8:00 AM.

Next you'll choose the number of messages that have to be sent before you are notified. So if phone number (555) 123-4567 sends 1 or more messages, you will receive a notification if the average delivery rate is below 50%.

Lastly, you will choose who the notifications go to. This can be an email address, or by enabling Webhook Notifications, you can send the notification directly to Slack.

Don't forget to save your changes and try different variations until you find the right balance that works for your team.
