Overview

Zapier is an application that allows almost any software to "talk" to different software. For example, you can use Zapier to link your CRM to your email/text software. This is exactly what we will be covering in the article. By the time you are done, contacts will be automatically pushed into your account.

1. Create a Simple Signup Form.

Create a form to collect as much information you can without taking too much of your client's time. I would use a form creator that can integrate with Google Sheets in order to simplify storing your submission. Most form software connects with Google Sheets, but my favorite is Typeform since they have a direct integration. Another good option is to use google forms if you do not want to go with Typeform. I would make a very simple form to collect First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Email.

2. Connect Typeform to Google Sheets

In order to minimize manual entry and supervision, I would connect the Typeform form to a Google Sheets document. You can do so by going to the “Connect” page within your Typeform landing page, go to the “Integration” section, and scroll down until you find the Google Sheets integration. Click the “Connect” button on the right-hand side and follow the instructions until it’s activated.

3. Connect to Volt's text Automation Software

Now that you have your contacts information automatically added to a Google Sheets page you should connect it to your Volt account with Zapier. Log in or create an account on Zapier
Create a zap that triggers on “New Spreadsheet Row” and make it pull the contacts First Name, Number. Next, select an action zap to “Create Customer” in Volt.

4. Watch your text community grow!

From this point forward, anyone who fills out the form will be automatically added as a contact in your Volt account. If you want to take this automation a step further, look into using Flows. You could push these contacts into a specific list and start a drip campaign or send them automatic texts.
